You can make the ringlets with a piece of metal rod with a slot cut at the end, a drill and a vice. You put the drill in the vice. You get some normal wire and slot it in the slot in the rod and using the slowest speed you can make a spring. With the rod in the drill of course. Cut the spring with cutters.
